While my unknown friends and I were in the elevator, we met an attractive guy who all of us admired (ig?). I was super shy, but then, out of all of my friends, he chose ME. He was blond in a natural way, leaning towards a browner shade of blond. He had kinda curly hair (?), and he was white. He was relatively thin and right about my size. He didn’t wear glasses. The two of us sneaked out to a grass patch by the road near a 1-story square building. We did a lot of random stuff and had fun such as him etching something on a brick on top of the roots of a tree. Every time we were doing something, he’d always look at me and slightly chuckle with that very sweet smile that felt like the whole world to me. I loved every little thing about him, and this was the first time I felt love so strong like this. Just being with him and bonding with him in this dream showed me what love TRULY felt like. I felt so much love and couldn’t contain myself from smiling a lot and experiencing an almost irresistible and overpowering sense of awe, near-crying, and joy in my heart all at the same time. Later on, when it was night time, we went inside his house (probably the squarish building from earlier). It was dark inside with tiny light sources in certain patched areas. Then suddenly, his parents were demanding a lot from him, exploiting his success in music (which I only found out through that dialogue). It was kinda scary, so I sneaked out of the house. By that time, it was pouring/raining so hard outside. I was about to go down the patio stairs (made of grey concrete) when suddenly, he stopped me. He gave me a lot of sweet advice. The only one I remember is for me not to focus too much on studies (coz I stress way too much about it ig). I actually wanted him to accompany me on the walk back to my house, but for some reason, he declined. Bummed out, I walked back alone to my house, feeling slight sadness inside (coz ofc he didn’t go with me). Now, once I’m awake, it feels peculiar how this guy managed to bring out feelings of love so magnified that I never felt before even if he’s the polar opposite of my type. Everything about him is different than Flores, the guy I liked before who defined my standards, and I’m determined to actually find this guy in real life.
This dream is a vivid exploration of emotions and self-discovery, intertwined with themes of love, change, and letting go of self-imposed restrictions. Let's break it down:
Unknown Friends and Elevator: The dream begins with the presence of unknown friends in an elevator, a confined space that represents transition and movement in life. The unknown friends suggest that you may be exploring aspects of yourself that are unfamiliar or undiscovered. The presence of an attractive guy signifies an introduction of new possibilities or desires that you're not entirely aware of yet.
The Attractive Guy: This character represents an ideal of love and companionship, radiating qualities that you admire and find intriguing. His distinct features, such as his blondish hair and sweet smile, might symbolize traits you’re seeking in yourself or others, highlighting a desire for warmth, acceptance, and genuine connection. He is different from your usual type, which might indicate a shift in what you’re looking for in a partner or how you're redefining your own identity.
Grass Patch and Building: The setting outside the elevator, with its natural grass patch and earthy activities like etching on bricks, reflects a grounding experience. The act of having fun and engaging in such simple pleasures with him showcases your yearning for authentic, unstructured connection—something real and intimate, away from societal expectations.
Expression of Overwhelming Love: The intensity of emotions you feel in the dream suggests an awakening or deepening of genuine feelings, possibly indicating your readiness for a new kind of love or understanding of it. The joy and awe you experience might symbolize self-love and acceptance of these newfound feelings.
Nighttime and Inside His House: The transition to night and his house introduces a more complex aspect, reflecting inner fears or challenges. His parents demanding much from him implies pressure and expectations—elements possibly resonating with your own life. Darkness contrasted with patches of light typically symbolizes navigating through confusion or uncertainty, seeking clarity and hope.
Advice and Rain: His advice, especially about not focusing too much on studies, suggests a message from your inner self urging you to balance hard work with living in the moment and enjoying life. The rain represents cleansing and emotional release, reflecting a period of transformation and the washing away of overwhelming stress or past expectations.
Parting and Walking Alone: Walking back alone in the rain symbolizes self-reliance and the courage to face life's uncertainties without fear, despite yearning for companionship. This reflects personal growth, hinting at becoming comfortable with independence and trusting your life's journey.
New Standards and Search for Him: Waking up feeling a desire to find this person suggests that the dream has awakened a need to reassess what you truly want out of love and connection. The contrast with someone from your past, Flores, signifies your evolving standards and perceptions, possibly highlighting a significant change in what fulfills you emotionally.
In essence, this dream is a monumental journey of introspection and emotional maturity. It encourages you to explore new pathways in love and self-understanding, prompting you to embrace change, seek authentic connections, and not be constrained by past ideals or societal pressures.
